Rush Limbaugh touched on the left wing Blogs writing about Chaney intentionally shooting his hunting partner, sending a message to Libby to keep his mouth shut. Rush Limbaugh, you and the blog-world missed it. Dick Chaney, the shooting, the NSA leak, Libby and Halliburton are all connected. See Chaney did authorize Libby to leak intelligence. Libby was ordered to leak the NSA wire tapping operation, not an insignificant individual such as Valerie Plame, she's small potatoes. The leak was a major success for Chaney, except when the obsessive coverage began to die too soon. The VP had to act fast to keep the media busy, he obtained the idea while hunting. If he shot his hunting partner it would take up all the media's attention for another couple weeks. Hell he wasn't running for president anyway, he had BIGGER plans. Why did they need a couple more weeks? Obviously to push this UAE port deal through before the media got wind of it. See there are no investigative reporters anymore. Today reporters just hang out in two places, at White House press conferences and in congress waiting for leaks. Chaney knows this and utilized it to Halliburton's advantage. See Halliburton is getting all of the port construction projects from Dubai. Halliburton will also receive the contract to build underground pipelines from Dubai, to embezzle all the oil from the rest of the Middle Eastern world and build an under ground pipeline at a 22 degree angel from Dubai through the earth to China for express delivery. The objective is for Dubai partnered with Chaney and Halliburton to take control of the world's oil and Rule the One World Order. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Dick Chaney For World President!

Robert W. Is it possible that they do believe that Arabs pose a threat to the US? Is it possible they believed that all along and they lied about it? The UAE did not attack us. Why take it out on them? Wow, it's because it's an Arab country. So racial profiling is only okay when democrats do it. Quick call airport security and tell them it’s now okay to frisk suspicious looking Arab men!

I have a theory why President Bush is for this deal and it’s a wild one. There is a snowball chance in hell it’s legitimate but here me out. First let us look at some facts about the UAE pointed out by James S. Robbins in the National Review.

December 2004: Dubai was the first government in the region to sign on to the U.S. Container Security Initiative to screen all containers heading for the United States for security risks.

May 2005: Dubai signed an agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy to bar passage of nuclear material from passing through its ports, and install radiation-detecting equipment.

June 2005: The UAE joined the International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings and the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism.

October 2005: The UAE Central Bank directed banks and financial institutions in the country to tighten their internal systems and controls in their fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. UAE banks routinely cooperate with U.N. and international law-enforcement agencies in supplying information about suspect accounts.

November 2005: In the wake of the terror bombings in Jordan, General Shaykh Muhammad Bin-Zayid Al Nuhayyan, heir apparent of Abu Dhabi and supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, stated that “Muslim scholars who live among us must adopt a stand toward this terrorism… If they do not declare [terrorists] to be infidels, they should at least consider them as non-Muslims. …If there are no honest stands toward these non-religious and inhumane operations, these [attacks] will continue.”

December 2005: The UAE National Consultative Council called for declaration of an all-out war against terrorism and depriving any person who pledges allegiance to foreign extremist groups the right of UAE citizenship. The council proclaimed that it regarded links to such groups as high treason.

The UAE has also assisted the Coalition effort in Iraq, in particular training Iraqi security forces and sending material assistance to the Iraqi people.

The U.S. does not run any of the ports in the country. After the British sell these 6, they will no longer run any port operations either, here or in Europe, they are all outsourced. The UAE already runs many port operations through out the world. Most of the containers coming into the US from Germany, France and China are already from ports managed by the UAE. The security of our ports remains the same. It is the responsibility of the Port Authority, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and Homeland Security.

With all this said there are reasons for concern. Support for Hamas by the UAE, money laundering and some of the 9/11 hijackers traveled through the UAE to get here. Then again we knew. We know about the money laundering, we knew about the operatives in the country before 9/11. Could it be that the UAE is a pretty good informant? 80% of the wealth in the UAE is western money. 1 in 80 people in the UAE is a millionaire. The UAE is the richest country in the world per capita. Could it be they want to preserve their western like life style? Out of one side of their mouth they support their neighbors (understanding the size of their country and where they are) and out of the other side they support the western world? Is it possible this is an “information line” the security of this nation might need? President Bush hasn’t hesitated on pulling the trigger to kill known terrorist. From a drone fired hellfire missile to blow up a car to bombing a building in Pakistan knowing there would be civilian casualties and a massive political fall out, yet he did it any way. Then why this bone head move? Is it possible we, the public don’t know how much information the United Arab Emirates are giving us. Yes maybe there is something Senator Rockefeller or the NY Times hasn’t leaked yet.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://gr8gop.blogspot.com/2006/02/no-way-democrats-are-racial-profiling.html' title='No Way! In Belgium, the government spends less than American schools do on each student, but the money is attached to the kids. In public education, our land of the free is now a bunch of local fiefs, where petty-bureaucrats-turned-lords-of-the-manor decide whether you can get a decent education, and parents must go to them, begging for their children's future. It is about time republicans start standing up for a just cause. Read the Senators letter below.

Chairman Roberts Reacts to DNC Chairman Howard Dean’s Egregious Comments on Terrorist Surveillance
“I was recently apprised of your assessment of the President’s terrorist surveillance program – an “early warning” capability to intercept the international communications of al Qaeda terrorists to and from persons within the United States. With respect to this important program, you stated, “President Bush’s secret program to spy on the American people reminds Americans of the abuse of power during the dark days of President Nixon and Vice President Spiro Agnew.” As Chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence, I find your statements to be irrational and irresponsible.

“Any suggestion that a program designed to track the movement, locations, plans, or intentions of our enemy – particularly those that have infiltrated our borders – is equivalent to abusive domestic surveillance of the past is ludicrous. When Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson approved the electronic surveillance of Martin Luther King, those Presidents were targeting American citizens based on activities protected by the First Amendment. When President Richard Nixon used warrantless wiretaps, they were not directed at enemies that had attacked the United States and killed thousands of Americans.

“I believe Americans understand that the careful and targeted program authorized by President Bush has no relation to the abuses of the past. Indeed, its closest antecedent is the direction of President Franklin D. Roosevelt to Attorney General Robert H. Jackson on the eve of World War II. With war looming and reports of lurking enemy saboteurs, President Roosevelt ordered the use of domestic electronic surveillance to target “persons suspected of subversive activities.” As President Roosevelt noted, “It is too late to do anything about it after sabotage, assassinations and ‘fifth column’ activities are completed.” Significantly, President Roosevelt’s direction was issued despite a statute (Section 605 of the Communications Act of 1934) and Supreme Court precedent (United States v. Nardone, 302 U.S. 379 (1937)) that prohibited such wiretapping.

“When President Bush exercised his constitutional authority and responsibility as Commander-in-Chief to target international communications between potential terrorists within this country and al Qaeda members overseas, he recognized, just like President Roosevelt, that after a terrorist attack occurs “[i]t is too late.” Our nation had been attacked on September 11, 2001, by foreign enemies. We were, and are still, at war with an enemy that Congress identified in an Authorization for Use of Military Force (Pub. L. No. 107-40 (Sept. 18, 2001)). Much of the war against al Qaeda is being fought overseas – Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq. But the war against terrorism is not confined to foreign lands. The war against terrorism is being fought every day in our own backyard. America is a battlefield.

“In peacetime and especially when our nation is at war, our leaders, including the chairmen of our political parties, should be more careful and better informed before they criticize the intelligence programs that protect our nation. Vibrant debate is important in our free society, but that debate should be serious and rational, especially where national security is concerned. Too many are looking at national security issues through partisan lenses. I have seen it on the Intelligence Committee for the past three years. Our nation, and the men and women of the military, law enforcement, and the intelligence community, deserve better.”

Read about the Senator Here.
See Senators comment on State of the Union Here.

Robert W. How many people avoid going to places where fights often occur? How many people avoid walking down a block that a bunch of rowdy kids are “hanging out” on? Well we here at home have the option of avoiding such conflicts. Our young men and women in the armed services face dangers every day that we can’t imagine. Like the emergency personnel on 9/11 who ran into the buildings as we ran out. Sergeant Eddie Ryan is one such hero. What’s amazing is this Purple Heart recipient from Ellenville New York, talks of “getting back to the boys” in Iraq even though he received two gun shot wounds to the head. Well that’s a Marine. That is Eddie Ryan.

I recognize the Marines teach honor, strength, determination, pride and survival. Eddie Ryan clearly has all of that and more. When I read about his family and how they handle this and how they support him, I can see Eddie must of had a lot of those qualities long before the Marines.

When I read about the projectile entering above his right eyebrow and into his frontal lobes, then another through his left jaw and out his chin I thought no way, there's just no way. But then again he is an American, a Marine and a Ryan and none of them quit! God bless him and his family.

Sgt. Ryan is at Helen Hayes Hospital, a great rehabilitation hospital. My daughter's grandmother volunteered there for many years. I heard many encouraging stories and I'm sure he is getting wonderful care. I live halfway between Ellenville, NY and Helen Hayes Hospital. I don't personally know Ryan but it hurts just the same.

The Ryan's are going to need some extensive work done too their house. Wider hallways, larger bathroom and ramps and I'm sure much more. Paul Brooks and the Times Herald Record have done a great job informing us. I've read about contractors, a couple of them from my neighborhood too, willing to help. That is so inspiring. I heard someone even applied at ABC for “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” I'm praying they get it. When I see what Sgt. Ryan and his family have sacrificed the least I could do is break the lock off my wallet too. It could never equal what the volunteers in our communities, emergency workers, police and armed services sacrifice but it is better then doing nothing.

I did not write this to raise money. Hell there is not much traffic at my blog anyway. The Ryan's never heard of me. I wrote this because I’m proud of my country and very proud of those who sacrifice for it. If you are interested you can help by visiting Eddie Ryan’s website and donating a couple bucks. Supreme Court justices exist to interpret laws and be sure that they square with the Constitution and with law”.

Then again it seems Senator Byrd is saying this only because he is up for re-election. The fact that democrats spew all this hatred all the time then campaign in a different manner reveals they are aware that their thinking doesn't get them elected. It's like Hillary Clinton running as a centrist. Suddenly she found churches to speak at and a military she likes. The blunt reality is if you adequately campaign as someone you are not and triumph at getting elected you fundamentally started your term in office as a liar before you actually even got in office! It's no wonder politicians have a bad reputation.

There maybe hope, nah that’s just silly.

Robert W. There are to many people today who migrate to the US with no desire to accept our way of life. They come here and want us to change our way of life to accommodate their culture. The culture they abandoned to come here. Generations ago people migrated here to become American. They were proud to learn our language and our way of life. We must never forget the traditions that built this country. We have to protect our culture and those traditions that built this, the must successful nation on earth. All those who would like to join our culture and except our traditions are welcome all those who want to change it are not.

Solution.

With estimates of up to tens of millions of illegal immigrants already here I say, ignore them, for now. Instead of countless man-hours and resources to find those already here, use that energy to immediately increase border protection with manpower and technology. At the same time the border security is being increased change some laws here in America.

1. Change the birth right law. Other countries do not have this law and nor should we. It made sense 200 years ago but no longer. If a child is born here and the parent(s) is a citizen of the U.S. then so is the child (with appropriately filing a birth certificate of course). If the parents are here illegally then all are apprehended and deported. You're welcome for the free medical care now it is time to go home.

2. Change the legislation between local police, hospitals and federal agencies. Hospitals must be officially sanctioned to notify the local police and the police must be able to detain illegal aliens and promptly notify the proper federal agency.[i]

3. Enforce the laws against businesses that employ undocumented workers. Employers should have to pay both the federal and IRS penalties. This will ultimately discourage the employing of illegal aliens and make it less luring for the illegal aliens to continually gamble their life getting across the border.[ii]

For those that are already here who have had children that are already considered legal citizens (this is why that law must change) can use their children as sponsors for the proper procedures of seeking legal residency. They should be allowed to file for legal residency because of their children but denied citizenship because they committed a crime during the process of getting here.

"What does it mean when your first act is to break the laws of your new country? What does it mean when you know you are implicitly supported in lawbreaking by that nation's ruling elite? What does it mean when you know your new country doesn't even enforce its own laws? What does it mean when you don't even have to become an American once you join America"? - Peggy Noonan.

[i] Instead of locating the illegal immigrants allow local police to detain them if discovered during a crime or even a traffic infraction. Once arrested illegal aliens are to be held and documented in central locations through out the country. Each time the detainees equal 300 or better they are deported (full airplane) to Mexico or their country of citizenship. The same with the illegal aliens seeking emergency medical attention, they should receive it, along with being reported and held for deportation. In this way we will eventually come across the criminal minded and the sick and deport them first.
[ii] Recent surveys show that 50% of landscapers and 25% of construction companies employ undocumented workers. Looking at the “other side” of that survey it shows 50% of the landscapers and 75% of the contractors can afford to do it legally. Well then I guess we all can.

Robert W. He told his buddies they are minors and couldn't be prosecuted. Mr. Simmons confessed to tying up Shirley Crook and throwing her off a bridge into the Meramec River where she drowned. He confessed and was sentenced to death. Judges have ruled there can't be a death penalty for someone under 18 years of age so he will live. They based their ruling on international law. Judge Antonin Scalia,[1] who wrote the minority dissent, pointed out the “arrogance” of judges who cite international law instead of the U.S. Constitution which they are sworn to uphold.

Judge Stephen Breyer said this ridiculous statement “U.S. law is not handed down from on high even at the U.S. Supreme Court. The law emerges from a conversation with judges, lawyers, professors and law students.... It's what I call opening your eyes as to what's going on elsewhere."

The irony is they obviously pick and choose their references to international opinion. The U.S. is one of only three countries that allow third trimester abortions. And let us not forget, they ruled a 13 year old can end the life of her unborn child without her parents’ counseling or knowledge. Not internationally popular to say the least. How ironic the courts hold up the right of a husband to have his handicapped wife put to death on hearsay, but they deny fathers of any say on the fate of their unborn child.

Some believe there is “separation of church and state” so they rule you can't say God in a public school but it is okay to teach Islam in a public school. It is not freedom of speech when you display the Ten Commandments on public property, but it is freedom of speech when you display a crucifix in a bucket of urine and the Virgin Mary covered in dung. According to these judges, the constitution gives you the right to freely express your religion unless it is Christianity.

Ballot initiatives that have been voted on and passed by the voters have been overturned by judges at an alarming rate. These judges feel the general public is not smart enough to understand the issue. Overturning the will of the people will have serious consequences if allowed to continue.

This is not a criticism on all judges, by far most judges’ rule by law as they are required. There are just a select few that rule by agenda and they have had a dangerous impact. They believe their agenda is too important to entrust with the ignorant general public. Judicial tyranny has been a growing concern with those of us on the right. The left on the other hand (pun intended), love activist judges. How else would they get through the policies the public does not want? It is a valid democracy when the left is winning, but when they are losing, there are no rules, they are “saving us” from our ignorance.

It would not be accurate to call all the “activist” judges, “right to die” judges. One must remember they allow almost any accusation to appeal a life sentence for convicted criminals.

Mark Levin’s book Men in Black points out bad decisions as far back as the beginning of our judicial system. I agree with one of Mr. Levin’s answers (or suggestions) to this problem, term limits. Maybe this would eliminate most of the God complex some of these judges have. Ann Coulter put this so well with the “God complex-ed” Greer. “No wonder the Southern Baptist Church threw Greer out: Only one god per church!” Read Ann Coulter’s “THE EMPEROR'S NEW ROBES” here. http://www.anncoulter.com/

Mr. Greer, supposedly a “right to die” judge, might need to be informed that the bill of rights mentions “right to life” 3 times, “right to die” zero. Actually if you include the U.S. Constitution with all 27 amendments, a total of 8,115 words, the word “die” is mentioned, well, NEVER.

God Bless America
Life Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness

[1] Antonin Scalia dissent was not based on right or wrong issue, Scalia believes it is a state issue.

Robert W. Instead of homelessness they now use the term houselessness. Good for the UN. Until they restore some credibility lets just ignore them.

According to WarmingFamilies.org the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, claim up to 600,000 men, women, and children go homeless each night in the U.S.

I once heard a caller, probably on a talk radio show like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity, say we should increase our trade with Mexico by trading our homeless for their illegal aliens, and after all, the illegal aliens will work. Was the statement rhetorical, sarcasm or humor? Who knows who really cares?

Supposedly there is a better solution to the homeless problem. A solution recently discovered by a large portion of the U.S. population. A solution I myself could have never imagined but it is the “will of the people.”

I have seen homeless people both in small communities and in major cities in the United States. Often I would walk by and wish I didn’t see them, there I admit it. Homeless people actually do often live under bridges, cardboard boxes and some of the “luckier” homeless get a scrap wood lean-to. Even in the hot summer months they wear many layers of clothing, if not they would certainly loose them. This is why our homeless carry everything they own with them. Other then shopping that may be the number one reason for shopping carts. Can you imagine this way of life?

Most of the homeless have an alcohol problem, they drink more alcohol then they eat food. The tuberculosis rate is 5.2 per 100,000. Many if not most have some sort of physical or mental handicap. How often do they shower, brush their teeth or comb the lice from their very matted hair? How often do they shop at the local dumpster? Their bathroom manners are deplorable, right? Haven’t you seen this? Can you imagine this way of life? Talk about “quality of life,” what quality?

The Solution

Recently I have learned that the public believes your “quality of life” determined by others, is your “right to life” and it is revocable! So if you find homeless people send them to Florida. No silly not Disney World, Pinellas Park, Judge George Greer’s district. There they will confine them to a well guarded room and, I find this gut wrenching to say, not allow any food or water. According to so many people who have spoken out, it is a “quality of life” issue and they would never want to live this way. I must stress this warning though, the wacko “right to life” crowd, probably right wingers, will fight you on this.

In the end it comes to this. The courts in America have kept a handicapped person from her caring parents and protected custody to a spouse accused of abusing her, who has abandoned her for another family ten years ago and is fighting for her death.

Is this an example of the “judicial tyranny” that supposed right wing wacko Mark Levin is screaming about?
Of course not, it is Hitlerism, you know, weeding out the weak, survival of the fittest.

God Bless America

Robert W. It is also the first “right” mentioned in the U.S. Declaration of Independence. I can’t seem to find the “the right to die” amendment.

This lame argument I constantly hear about her “quality of life” annoys the dren out of me. Yes, I said dren it’s not a typo, Google it.

Who made these people the right to life police? Just because it is unacceptable to you, who are you to decide it’s unacceptable for Terri. I think it is “Hitleresque” for one to decide if another ones quality of life is worth living. In that matter where does Mr. Shiavo get the right to decide on hearsay? Hearsay that was not mentioned for the first seven years. More importantly a so called “spouse” who has, in all terms, abandoned his wife certainly should not have the right to choose her death. One has the legal right to a divorce if ones spouse has abandoned them. If running off with another woman and having two kids isn’t abandonment, then try it with your spouse and see where you end up. Better yet, starve your spouse to death and see where that gets you. In Florida it is illegal and a first degree misdemeanor to starve your pet, how Ironic.

I understand the argument that she chose not to live on life support, even though it’s hearsay. My question is what life support. All of her “body” is living on its own. Denying her nutrition and hydration will kill her, not her questionable vegetative state. We all need food and water; does that mean we are all on life support? Some seem to think so.

This right to die crowd, do they believe people who can't feed themselves or have feeding tubes are on life support and should die? Hmm Christopher Reeve couldn't feed himself. Oh it’s the mentally handicapped? So now parents can go to court and have there mentally retarded children sentenced to death? Severe cerebral palsy children, it’s okay now we can get rid of them? Infants can't eat on their own either. Where will it end?

The right thing is, Mr.Shiavo, you should walk away. Terri has a family who wants to take on the so called “burden” of their daughters’ care, a right that should never be taken away from parents because of the hearsay from a runaway spouse.

Welcome to America the land where we treat death row inmates, terrorist and illegal aliens better then the handicapped. Hell, even death row inmates get a last meal.

Plow this slippery slope before it goes too far.
God Bless America

Robert W.
